Sandstone look, with the strength of concrete
Our 600 and 1800 series blocks have the structural integrity and weight ideal for Sydney’s waterways. They’ve stood the test of time without cracking or deteriorating under pressure or erosion.
The natural Sydney sandstone look of the blocks blend into the surroundings perfectly. The look is cohesive with the structural strength needed in a retaining wall. Our blocks are so good at what they do, engineers are replacing the original eroded sandstone rocks with our stronger blocks.
Why local councils and engineers choose our blocks
The 600 and 1800 series blocks are made to resist compression pressure from both the water and soil in the bank. At a 40MPa rating and a mass of over 2 ton, they simply rely on their weight to stay in place. This lowers your construction and excavation time and costs. Installation is simple. So your development can be up and running sooner.
Our blocks can also work on a cantilever system up to 8 metres. For walls up to 20 metres high, the blocks are soil reinforced.

Can backfilling occur before the core filling?
Core filling must occur first and be allowed to set before backfilling can occur.
The setting of the core fill only takes three days, and then backfilling can occur.
Can the 400 series components be used for marine walls?
No, this is because the core fill does not provide sufficient cover for reinforcing steel to meet marine standards for wall construction.
Our 600 series should be used to provide sufficient cover.
